An Experiment

I can't remember where I found the link to this great rolling pin fabric printing tutorial on Craft Chi, but I finally got around to trying it a few weeks ago! I cut craft foam into a pattern and glued it to a rolling pin . . .


Then I inked it up with thinned fabric paint, and rolled the pattern onto the fabric, once in each direction . . . Amazingly, it really looks like coral! It will be a nifty background for something ocean-inspired.
